The Meaning of Force
A force is a push or pull upon an object resulting from the objects interaction with another object. Whenever there is an interaction between two objects. there is a force upon each of the objects.
1. Gravitational Forces- Forces which acts between all the things having mass . • Always attractive • One of the weakest. • Works in long range
2. Electromagnetic Forces – Forces which act between charge particles. • Forces will be either repulsive or attractive dependingon the charges. • Much Stronger than Gravitational Forces • Long range
3. Nuclear Force A. Strong Nuclear Force: Binds the Nucleus ofan atom. • Always attractive • Strongest of all, charge independent • Range 10-15m B. Weak Nuclear force • Range 10-16m • Appear in nuclear process as the Beta decay of nucleus. • Initiates the nuclear fusion
